There is a great deal of work on Gender and Identity which has been done and which is ongoing. The objective of this web niche is to draw together a network of researchers and practitioners working in the area of Gender and Identity.
Through its interactive capabilities this niche will allow participants to inform one another of upcoming events and recent publications in the field. In addition, it can act as the meeting space for participants to plan activities for the future, launch comparative projects, and to transfer knowledge from one field to another.
Finally, the GI web niche will also provide a great deal of information to non-participants in an important area of study which has been largely absent from public debate on building an inclusive and cohesive society.
Any suggestions on how to improve the site will be most welcome.
